If you have any trouble ordering online we can shop on your behalf. The funds will be deducted from your Shipito account, and we will purchase the products. Sales tax and shipping fees are determined by the retailer (if applicable). To place an assisted purchase order, please have the URLs of the items you want to buy ready. On your account go to the "Assisted Purchase" section and click "New Assisted Purchase." Fill in the required information to proceed with placing the order.
If any item in your order is not available, we will purchase what is available. 50% of your order must be available, otherwise the assisted purchase request will be canceled and you will be notified by email.
Usually between 2-5 days, depending on the day the request is submitted and the volume of requests.

Konsolidierung

With VIRTUAL MAILBOX membership, you can maximize your savings. This means that you can combine several smaller packages into a larger package.

How it works

Each time we receive a new package, we'll send you a notification with weight, measurement, tracking number and sender information so that you can easily identify each package.

When we consolidate your various packages, we always find the most efficient method.
First you will need to log in to your account and click on PACKAGES IN WAREHOUSE

This page displays all packages entered in your account. Please remember to fill out a customs declaration for each package you wish to combine (see how to do it). Without this information, we cannot combine or send packages. After completing the process, you can reach the form by clicking CONSOLIDATE button at the top of the Packages section.

You will need to complete the following options::

  • Choose your preferred shipping method

  • You can add shipping insurance

  • Option to SEND IMMEDIATELY or HOLD. Hold will give you the option to change shipping method after consolidation. We will hold and wait till you select that package to be sent to us. You can do this by clicking on SHIP SEPARATELY directly on the package through the SPECIAL INSTRUCTION link.

  • SHIPPING ADDRESS allows you to send the consolidated package to an address different than your default shipping address. If you don’t select this option, package will be sent to your default address.

  • Choose box size

  • RE-PACK OPTIONS. You can throw away the original packaging material or keep it.

  • Finally, you’ll need to select all the packages you wish to be consolidated. Again, only packages with completed customs declarations can be consolidated.


  • If you have any other special requests (verifying the contents, immediate shipment, etc.) please use SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS directly on each package.

    Once you’ve finished, you can click on the “CONSOLIDATE PACKAGES” button on the top of the Packages section which will take you to the form.

    Shipping rates for a consolidated package cannot be determined until the consolidation has been completed. Shipping rates and available carriers are based on the dimensions and weight of the package. This information will be updated in your account once the consolidation has been completed and a new package ID assigned. You can get an estimate from our shipping calculator.
    How Consolidation of Packages Works Consolidation is a process where we take smaller packages and put them together into one bigger box.

    The account holder selects a box; we recommend the USPS size limit (26”x13”x13”). Next, a shipping method must be selected. Shipito will then attempt to consolidate all selected packages into the box. If there are any extra items, we will automatically use another box, unless otherwise specified under “Advanced Options.”

    When we see your request, we retrieve your packages and double-check that we have the correct ones. Depending on your request, we can remove all unnecessary packaging which might significantly lower the postage.

    You have three options:

  • Keep the outer shipping box
  • Keep inner retail/product packaging
  • Remove all unnecessary packaging leaving only the item(s)


  • If you are planning on reselling the products, we recommend keeping the original product/retail packaging.

    Once we consolidate, we measure the new package and weigh it again. We also take a photo of all the items being consolidated in order to ensure greater accuracy. If you would like more photos, please use the “Special Request” function.

    You can find larger boxes under “Advanced Options” on the Consolidation page. You can also place a special request and we will pack your packages on a pallet. Please keep in mind that this might not be cheaper due to the weight and cost of the pallet. Always remember to check the shipping calculator beforehand.

    If you are concerned about fragile items, you can always place a Special Request to add extra packaging material. There is also an option to keep fragile items in their original boxes.

    We do not recommend consolidating packages bigger than the UPS limit of 26”x13”x13”. These larger packages have an increased risk of damage during shipping.

    Please allow up to 1-2 business days for all consolidation requests to be processed.


    2. BOXING OPTIONS

    Standard Box Size: (This is set by default)
    Your items will be packed in the smallest standard box, the box will be cut down if there is extra space and packing materials will be added to secure your items with the tightest fit. Packages which don't fit in the full consolidated box, can be selected to either be A) consolidated in another box or B) returned back to your mailbox

    Custom Box Size
    If you are shipping items which require a custom-made box, there will be a $5 USD surcharge to create a custom size box for your item. Items like guitars and golf clubs are examples of items which will need custom boxes. We do this to protect your items and comply with shipping regulations.

  • We don't recommend consolidating packages bigger than 26”x13”x13”. Larger packages have an increased risk of damage during shipping.


  • 3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES OPTIONS

  • Die Lagerdauer wird durch das Datum des ältesten Pakets bestimmt, das konsolidiert wird. Wenn du beispielsweise Paket A mit 30 Tagen Lagerung, Paket B mit 40 Tagen und Paket C mit 45 Tagen konsolidierst, werden für das neu erstellte Paket 30 Tage Lagerzeit übrig bleiben, da Paket A das älteste davon ist.

  • This service is only available for DHL & Fedex, and because of the restrictions these carriers have to Australia with consolidations, so too they apply for MPS to Australia.

    Other Service Related Questions

    If you have more than one package going to the same delivery address, you can save a lot of money by using our Multiple Piece Shipment (MPS) service. This service is only available for Virtual Mailbox users, and will be available for DHL, TNT and FedEx shipping methods. You can get the best savings when shipping several small packages, but you have the freedom to decide if you’d like to use MPS or not.

    To enter an MPS Request, simply:

  • Login to your account, and go to the “Packages in Warehouse” section
  • Click the “MPS Request” button and a form will appear
  • Select your Warehouse with packages you want to ship using MPS
  • Select all packages you wish to include in the shipment and click “Select Packages” button. Some packages may not be available for MPS shipping. These packages are displayed on the bottom of the page
  • Enter the delivery address
  • You can then select your shipping method from a variety of carriers
  • Confirm your order

    Our goal is to complete express processing requests within 4-6 hours from the time of the request and is dependent upon operational hours and volume of shipments. If you would like express mailout, be sure to select this as well, this is a different option from express processing.

    How long does it take?
    1-2 days to process
    (Monday-Friday in the United States, excluding U.S. Holidays).

    You can place a "Custom Request" in your Shipito account to take photos of the content of the shipment. Log in and click ler Packages in the warehouse i, select your package and click ”Special Requests

    We offer two options when it comes to photos:

    One photo request
    Shipito will open your package and take one photo of the contents. This is the least expensive request which gives you an idea of what items are included in your package. Do not expect a detailed shot. Typically, it is one photo showing all items contained in the package spread out on a table.

    If the content of package does not fit in the area of 36x36 inches, we will automatically charge for a multiple photo request.

    Multiple photo request /strong>
    This request gives you close up and detailed photos of the items in the package. We will also take a photo of the invoice or packing list (if enclosed). Also, photos of labels on clothes and other items so you can verify that the correct sizes were shipped. This also includes model numbers for electronics and the IMEI number for iPhones.

    We take photos based on our best judgment. If you have a specific requirement, please use OTHER INSTRUCTION ($5) and explain how you would like the photo to be taken in detail. We will not break factory seals and take pictures of the product box in One or Multiple photo request. If you wish us to inspect the product and take more detailed photos, please use OTHER INSTRUCTION.
